Natalie Whiting is the ABC’s Papua New Guinea Correspondent. Natalie is a video journalist and multiplatform reporter who has previously worked for 7.30, news, and radio current affairs. Before moving to Port Moresby, Natalie filed for the ABC from across Australia, with a particular focus on stories from outback and regional areas. She started her career with the ABC in Broken Hill and was later based in Orange, Sydney, Adelaide and Hobart. Natalie was awarded the ABC’s Andrew Olle Scholarship in 2014 and has won several South Australian and Tasmanian Media Awards. She has also been a finalist in the UNAA Media Awards and a two time finalist in the Young Walkley Awards. You can follow her @Nat_Whiting.
